   Celebrate Independence Day at the largest multi-use sports complex in the Las Vegas Valley. Grab a blanket, pack a picnic, and head out to enjoy live entertainment, great food, kids' activities, and a fabulous fireworks display at 9 p.m. Beat the heat and check out Heritage Park's Splash Pads, which feature a recycled rubber surface for traction and water rainbows, water trees, water cannons, and waterfalls. 3. 25th Annual Summerlin Council Patriotic Parade - Steps off on Hills Center Drive, Summerlin | 8:30 to 11 a.m. July 4th
   Don your best red, white, and blue and come out to the 25th annual Summerlin Council Patriotic Parade. The Summerlin community is going all-out for the parade's silver anniversary with help from more than local 500 volunteers and over 2,500 people participating in the parade. This awesome Independence Day celebration features everything from marching bands to floats to much-loved movie and cartoon characters. Get your juices flowing with the Desert Angels gospel choir, Mamma Mia Sing-a-long, and Fortnite Dance Party just to name a few! American Legion, USO, and Marine Corps League representatives will also participate in the festivities. Attendance along the parade route may reach more than 40,000 spectators, so arrive early to get a good spot to watch this quintessentially American hometown parade.
