Dog-Friendly Parks Las Vegas - Wardley Real Estate

National Dog Day is August 26th, and what better way to celebrate than with a special dog walk. Las Vegas is fortunate to have so many options you and your dog will love. Our real estate agents have found some of the best, most unique spots for you and your furry friend to celebrate National Dog Day.

  1. Barkin' Basin Dog Park – 7341 W. Alexander Road, Las Vegas, Nevada 89129
Dog parks allow your pal to roam off-leash and to socialize with other dogs. At Barkin' Basin Dog Park, you can relax in the shaded seating area while your pooch romps around in one of the enclosed areas (one for big dogs and another for small ones). When either of you needs water, the park has fountains for both of you. The park is open 7 a.m. to 11 p.m.

  2. Exploration Peak Park – 9275 S. Buffalo Drive, Las Vegas, Nevada 89178
Hiking is a good way to break up the monotony of the neighborhood walk. You both get a little extra cardio, fresh air, and some cool sights (and smells). Exploration Peak Park has nearly 60 acres of trails and open spaces for you and your best friend to explore, including trails that ascend 2,800 feet to the top of Exploration Peak. This park is open 5 a.m. to 9:30 p.m.

  3. Heritage Bark Park – 350 E. Racetrack Road, Henderson, NV 89015
If there were an amusement park for dogs, it might look like the Bark Park at Heritage Park. Just minutes away from Henderson homes for sale, this five-acre fuzz-zone has dog runs, an agility course, and a splash pad! Dogs can play in one of two areas based on size and a third for all dogs. There are restrooms and drinking fountains for people and dogs. The Bark Park is open 6 a.m. to midnight.

  4. Charlie Frias Park – 4801 S. Decatur Blvd., Las Vegas, NV 89103
Incorporating the natural bluffs and hills between Sunrise Mountain and the Spring Mountains, Charlie Frias Park will take you and your pooch's breath away. Guide your leashed dog through the 32-acre park, or go off-leash in the enclosed area just for dogs (and their humans). Enjoy the views overlooking gardens and the Red Rock Canyon. Charlie Frias Park is open 6 a.m. to 11 p.m.

  5. Barx Parx – 8868 S. Eastern Ave. Suite 115, Las Vegas, NV 89123
Maybe your dog's idea of a pleasant walk isn't exploring the great outdoors. Perhaps you prefer relaxing in air-conditioning with a cold beer. Well, amazingly, Barx Parx has you covered. This one-of-a-kind indoor dog park has over 6,000 clean square feet for dogs to play, with special areas little dogs, big dogs, and you—serving wine, craft beers, snacks, soda, and water. Barx Parx is a 21+ establishment. They require proof of your dog's vaccinations. Day passes are $18.85. Barx Parx is open Monday-Thursday 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. and Friday-Sunday 6 a.m. to 10 p.m.

  6. Sunset Park — 2601 E. Sunset Road, Las Vegas, NV 89120
Hailed by Clark County as their "crown jewel," Sunset Park offers a ton for person and pooch alike. There are miles of trails to explore, a lake to cool off in, and of course a dog park for your furry pal to meet and play with new friends. Sunset Park is open 6 a.m. to 11 p.m.

This National Dog Day, treat your best friend to a walk around the town. Las Vegas parks are clean, safe, and beautiful. If you'd like more information about buying or selling a home in Las Vegas, please contact Wardley Real Estate.
