  1. Streets for Coffee Lovers – If you can't get your day going without a freshly brewed java, then consider moving to one of these streets: Doubleshot Lane, Coffee Bean Place, Rich Flavor Place, House Blend Lane, or French Roast Place.

  2. Home of Ozzie, the Giraffe Artist – Where else in the world can you see a landscape painted by a 3-year-old giraffe. 13 Action News reported that Ozzie the giraffe collaborated on a painting with artist, Donovan Fitzgerald. Ozzie, who lives at the Lion Habitat Ranch held the paintbrush in his lips to create his masterpiece. Keith Evans, the president of the habitat said that Ozzie is Nevada's only giraffe and the only one in the world that knows how to paint.

  3. Life-size Simpsons' House – Fox and Pepsi built a full-size promotional Simpsons' house in 1997. They raffled off the life-size cartoon house but the winner took $75,000 instead of moving in. Someone else bought the house in 2001, leaving the original painting of Homer on the sidewalk.

  4. Tree City USA – This city is a tree huggers paradise. For 21 years, the city earned the title, "Tree City USA." The city complied with the Arbor Day Foundation's four requirements including a working tree board, a community forestry program, a tree ordinance, and a yearly observance of Arbor Day.

  5. Ironman Championship – In 2012 and 2013, the Ironman 70.3 World Championship has taken place here. Over 1,800 athletes compete in this grueling competition, swimming in Lake Las Vegas for 1.2 miles, bicycling 56 miles through Lake Mead Recreation Area, and finishing with a marathon to Henderson Pavilion.

  6. Sweet Tooth Capital – To some folks, Henderson is known as the 'Sweet Tooth Capital'. If you love s'mores, consider relocating to Henderson.   8. Westworld – Once a 126-acre theme park, Old Vegas was booming from 1978 to 1986. Its original name was Westworld.
