Las Vegas is famous for its bright lights and eye-catching shows, so you shouldn't be surprised by our passion for the Fourth of July. If you're looking for homes in Las Vegas this summer, you'll find out what we mean soon enough. Our vibrant city has many show-stopping traditions, but one of our favorite seasonal celebrations happens high above the Strip: our annual Independence Day fireworks shows.
As a Las Vegas resident, you'll have your pick of hot spots to enjoy the show. Our real estate agents have created this list of their favorite places to watch fireworks in Las Vegas on the Fourth of July:
- Caesars Palace
Seven different casinos on the Strip send up fireworks on New Year's Eve, but Caesars Palace handles most of the Fourth of the July festivities. If you want to see the fireworks on the Strip this Fourth, get as close as you can to the Caesars display. Stand on the Las Vegas Strip by the front fountains for the best views of the Palace's 13-minute show, which usually starts at around 9 PM. The famous casino resort's fireworks are shot straight up from Julius Tower.
- The High Roller at The LINQ
Right across from Caesars Palace, enjoy a weekend-long Independence Day party in one of the city's newest entertainment districts… and make a special trip into the sky when it's time for the explosions. Whether you're a thrill-seeking single or a devoted parent, The LINQ Promenade was made for you, with its dining, clubbing, and shopping venues dotted by a world-famous Ferris wheel called the High Roller. This enclosed, 550-foot tall wheel gives you a bird's eye view of the Caesars show and other fireworks displays throughout Las Vegas.
- Mandalay Bay Beach
During its annual summer concert series, Mandalay Bay often fills the sky above its "beachfront" music venue with colorful fireworks that light up the night. It may cost extra to party at Mandalay Beach on the Fourth of July, but it's definitely an unforgettable show, as shimmering bursts are reflected in the illuminated waters of the Mandalay Bay Beach pools.
- MonteLago Village Resort
Not feeling the Strip this Independence Day? Hit up the family-friendly fireworks show over Lake Las Vegas two days before the big day. MonteLago Village Resort throws a day-long celebration with stilt walkers, face painters, balloon artists, live musicians, and barbecue stations on Saturday, July 2. MonteLago's neighbor, Westin Lake Resort and Spa, is another fantastic vantage point for two simultaneous displays that begin bursting over the lake around 8:40 PM.
- Heritage Park in Henderson
Would you rather enjoy the fireworks from a wide open space? Head south to Henderson for the City's annual Fourth of July Celebration in Heritage Park. This free event starts at 1 PM and includes lawn games, arts and crafts, bounce houses, water hamster balls, and of course, a fireworks display that lights up the night sky at 9 PM sharp. Henderson is just 25 minutes from the Strip, so it's the perfect way to spend a patriotic Tuesday after a weekend of Sin City holiday festivities.
