Festive Fun for the Entire Family

The theme of this year's WinterFest is "Dazzling Desert Holiday," and the festivities promise to live up to their name. Taking place on Friday, December 8 and Saturday, December 9, the festival includes a tree-lighting ceremony starring Santa Claus and Henderson Mayor Debra March along with great food, entertainment, and a magnificent evening Light Parade.

There will be dozens of local and regional arts and crafts vendors on site offering an incredible variety of handmade goods. Dance and music performances will take place throughout the event, and you can also check out the incredible gingerbread house display, take in a few songs from the strolling carolers, and have your picture taken with Santa inside a giant snow globe. Activities for kids include a Ferris wheel, carousel, train ride, toboggan slide, pony rides, make and take craft station, and a free petting zoo.

WinterFest 2017

WinterFest is a great opportunity for family fun and is open to all ages. Wristbands will be available Friday and Saturday for full day-of unlimited access to the Ferris wheel, carousel, pony rides and other attractions. Be sure to catch these scheduled events at the 2017 Henderson WinterFest:

WinterFest takes place at the Henderson Events Plaza (200 South Water Street, Henderson, NV) which hosts some of the area's most exciting events throughout the year. Admission to WinterFest is free of charge, though some attractions may require paid admission.
