However, the 7.6-mile round trip can be daunting. This is definitely a trail for those who are looking for a long, scenic hike. 4. Frenchman Mountain Trail - Shadow Rock Park - North Las Vegas
   Standing 4,056 feet over Las Vegas, Frenchman Mountain provides a beautiful hike with some spectacular views. This 4.4-mile round trip is very steep, so be sure to bring a walking stick and wear a good pair of boots.
